Financing Disclosure

Last updated: July 30, 2026

The short version

Knoxville Asbestos Removal does not lend money. Some assigned contractors offer their own financing or partner with third-party consumer lenders. Any financing is subject to credit approval by the lender — not by us, and not automatically by the contractor.

What "subject to credit approval" actually means

The lender will run a credit check. Approval, term length, interest rate, and monthly payment depend on your credit profile, income, and the lender’s current underwriting rules — not on anything we or the contractor say at quote time. Promotional rates (e.g., “0% for 12 months”) usually require excellent credit and specific promotional windows.

Common lender relationships

Contractors in our network commonly work with consumer home-improvement lenders such as GreenSky, Synchrony, or Wells Fargo Retail Services. The specific lender depends on the contractor — ask at quote time and get the terms in writing before signing.

What to compare before signing any financing

  • APR (annual percentage rate) — the true cost of borrowing including fees. Not the same as the “interest rate.”
  • Term length — how many months before payoff. Longer term = lower monthly payment but more total interest.
  • Prepayment penalty — some loans charge a fee for early payoff. Ask.
  • Deferred-interest terms — if you don’t pay off within the promotional window, interest often accrues retroactively from day one. Read the fine print.
  • Cash-price discount — some contractors offer a discount for paying cash. Ask what the cash price is before deciding to finance.

Right to cancel

Most home-improvement financing agreements come with a federal three-business-day right to cancel. The lender must give you the cancellation form at signing.

No lending decisions by us

Knoxville Asbestos Removal does not make lending decisions, does not receive lender commissions or referral fees on financing, and does not have visibility into the lender’s underwriting decisions. Financing questions go directly to the lender or the contractor arranging it.
