The notice, the manifest and the clearance result

Three pieces of paper decide whether an asbestos removal was done properly, and you should have all three when the crew leaves.

1. The TDEC APCD notification, where the job crosses 260 linear feet on pipes, 160 square feet on other components or 35 cubic feet off facility — counted across the whole project, not room by room. Owner-occupied single-family homes of four units or fewer sit outside the notification requirement itself, but every other rule still applies.
2. The waste manifest, signed, naming the hauler and the receiving landfill. This is the proof the material went where the paperwork said it would.
3. The clearance air result, sampled inside the containment by PCM or TEM before the barrier comes down. Without it you have no evidence the space is safe to re-occupy.
